Extractive 360 Set For Official Launch Thursday
All is now set for the official launch of extractive360.com
The event will hold in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city on Thursday, 28th March, 2019.
It is organised in partnership with the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) and the Nigeria Natural Resource Charter (NNRC).
The event is expected to have in attendance top Nigeria government officials, representatives of Development Partners, extractive sector companies, members of civil society organisations and the media.
Highlights of the event will include the formal unveiling of the site, to be performed by the Executive Secretary of NEITI, Mr Waziri Adio, and the presentation of extractive360.com distinguished Advisory Board Members, to be performed by the Director General, Mining Cadastre Office, Engr. Simon Nkom.
“We are excited about the opportunity to introduce our platform to stakeholders in the extractives sector with a view to presenting the site for their use and participation,” said Juliet Alohan. Editor of extractive360.com.
“The site was initiated and set up as a medium through which stakeholders can contribute their quota in amplifying the need for transformation across the value chain of the Nigerian oil, gas and solid minerals industries. This launch brings us one step closer to achieving our mission,” Alohan said.
