Petrobras has started the opportunity disclosure stage concerning the sale of participating interests in four of its operated concessions in the deepwater Sergipe-Alagoas basin offshore Brazil.
These blocks include, BM-SEAL-4 Petrobras 75percent, ONGC 25percent (offered 35percent) and BM-SEAL-4A Petrobras 100percent (offered 50percent).
The two others are BM-SEAL-10 Petrobras 100percent (offered 30percent) and BM-SEAL-11 Petrobras 60percent IBV 40percent (offered 20percent).
To date there have been six discoveries of light oil and gas in these concessions: Barra, Farfan, Muriú, Moita Bonita, Poço Verde, and Cumbe.
Petrobras expects a declaration of commerciality to be issued in second quarter (Q2) 2020, according to Offshore reports.
